I spent 8000 bucks to buy a panda from the black market. Please help me check if it is real.

Recently, i go hiking and spent 8000 bucks to buy a baby panda from an old lady in a village. That lady told me, panda is a national treasure. I was thinking, 8000 bucks is very worth it for a national terasure!

Therefore I immediately decided to buy it. After keeping the panda for 2 months, the panda looks like this (see picture bellow). Strangely the panda doesn't like to eat bamboo, but just eat meat. I am almost broke now!!!

Am i being cheated???!!!!
